Washington D.C.

Our capital stands as a symbol of opportunity for many refugees and immigrants, however, actually living in this land and making the necessary adjustments often comes as a harsh reality upon arrival. As a result, clusters of ethnic groups have settled on the outskirts of D.C. creating an outer-ring of poverty and hopelessness. Through serving meals, putting on Kid’s Clubs, rebuilding houses, and cleaning up local neighborhoods, we will be able to spread the love of Jesus and provide a source of hope in broken situations. We will also be learning about our Nation’s capital by visiting some awesome sites in D.C., including the Holocaust Museum.

We will be working with local ministries to repair unsafe homes and help recreate a safe living environment for children and families.
